Brazing

Brazing joins two surfaces through heating and applying filler metal.

No one has more experience brazing hypodermic and other small tubing than New England Small Tube Corporation. We braze enclosures, T-joints, dispensing manifolds, coaxial sampling probes and many other complex tubing assemblies. Our expertise allows us to provide strong clean dependable joints with minimum sized fillets.

Some of the brazing options available are:

Silver and Nickel Brazing: Our experience makes us experts in this type of brazing. We know which of these brazes is appropriate for your application. We can help determine the best method that will give you the maximum strength joint with the minimum amount of heat applied to the part.

Induction Brazing: This method allows us to localize the annealing process and provide great repeatability of the brazed joint. Inert gas may be introduced if needed during the brazing operation to minimize oxidation.

Furnace Brazing: This is an excellent choice for tube manifolds, preheater tubes and any application where the entire assembly can withstand the heat of the brazing furnace. Many complex assemblies require furnace brazing.

If brazing is not the best method of joining also offer laser welding, adhesive bonding and compression fitting parts together.
